Essie Playa del Platinum - swatches and review

Today I want to show you a really pretty greige cream polish from Essie! Meet Playa del Platinum! The name gives a hint of its elegance. This is a wonderful color for the occasions when you want something less bright but still a bit more than a nude.

GOOD TO KNOW ABOUT PLAYA DEL PLATINUM:

Type of polish: Cream.

Colour: A mousy greige.

Collection: Essie Resort Collection Summer 2010.

Opacity: Very good! This is two coats.

Formula: Good! A bit thin formula, but not runny. Easy to control.

Brush: Ok. A bit thin, but ok to apply with.

Shine: Very shiny on its own so I have no top coat in these pictures.

Accurate colour, photo vs IRL: Accurate! But even more gorgeous irl!

Grade: 5/5 :D

This is a gorgeous greige polish which is both classic and elegant! I really love this polish! Both on it's own and as a base for nail art.

How do you like Playa del Platinum?
Are you into greige polishes?

  3. Fan vad kul att se det här lacket! jag har bilder på det i arkivet, det är ett lack jag återvänder till ibland, och det är helt klart värt att visas upp!

    1. Hi pet and thanks! :D Greige can be really beautiful! Only the slightest difference in shade can make it a fail or a win! ;)
Smilla is a bit better thanks - due to the cortison she's now eating. Not really back to her old self though... Viele Küsshen and thank you so much for caring! xxx
