Nfu Oh MOR 11 - swatches and review

Before the summer ends completely I need to show you one more polish from Nfu Oh's collection "Morning of Greece". This is the amazing, stunning and gorgeous MOR 11! And same as MOR 10, as I showed you last Green Wednesday, this is in my possession because of the lovely Christine from Polished Marvels. Thank you so much pet! <3

This is three coats with a top coat.

GOOD TO KNOW:

Type of polish: Cream.

Number of coats: Three.

Formula: Good! As for MOR 10 I wished it was a bit more self leveling though.

Brush: Excellent!

Top Coat: Yes. One coat.

Color accuracy in pictures: Accurate. Perhaps a tiny bit more green leaning live.

Grade: 5+/5

This is a lovely green leaning to turquoise! It has the same sweet cherry aroma added to it as MOR 10. I sniffed my nails all day! Lol! I will definitely use this again and again!

Cat Nails - swatches

It's Nail Art Sunday again and today I've done a cat manicure! The base is the stunning Nfu Oh MOR 11 which is more green live than in my pictures. I'll show it to you more color correct some other day.

After applying the green base I did a thin black French tip using Illamasqua Scorn. Then I added the black cats which are water decals I've ordered ridiculously cheap from Hong Kong.

The positive thing about these decals is that they come in three sizes to fit every nail. The negative side is that they were not very adhesive which is quite important ;) I basically had to attach them with my top coat, hence the bubbles in my manicure. That's why some of the decals cracked up a bit too. In spite of all this, I still like this manicure, but than again I'm a big cat lover :)

Nfu Oh MOR 10 - swatches and review

For this Green Wednesday I've got a mind blowing blue-green (i.e. turquoise ;)) polish to show you! I got this beauty through a swap with my dear blog friend Christine at Polished Marvels. Without her I wouldn't have this gem in my collection! Thank you so much Christine!!! <3

This polish was released this summer in Nfu Oh's collection Morning of Greece. It's such a pity it's just called MOR 10! How hard can it be to give them names??? I can think of a thousand names for this one on the theme Mediterranean or pool or sea or swim or.... ;)

The formula is very good and for this collection Nfu Oh has added a cherry aroma to each polish. I couldn't stop sniffing my nails the first day! Lol! It even smells through a thick coat of Seche Vite.

GOOD TO KNOW:

Type of polish: Cream.

Number of coats: Two.

Formula: Very good. Easy to control but could have been more self leveling. Don't drag the brush on the same spot twice though to avoid bald spots.

Brush: Excellent! To me it's perfect!

Top Coat: Yes, one coat of Seche Vite. It dries a bit matte so if you want it smooth and shiny you need a top coat.

Color accuracy in pictures: Accurate, but it was really hard to capture the right shade. It kept looking pale blue. Aaaarrrggghhhh! ;)

Grade: 5+++++++/5

This polish is the perfect shade of turquoise to me! I like it when they lean towards blue. I love MOR 10 sooooo much!! Christine actually gave me her own copy because it was so hard to get and I'm ever so grateful!! <3

Nfu Oh #52 - swatches and review

Today I want to show you a successful combination of two polishes:
Nfu Oh #52 and Illamasqua Phallic!
Nfu Oh #52 is a green/blue flake polish and Phallic is a midnight blue shimmer polish. More swatches and a review of Phallic can be found here.
Look how nice they go together! :D A match made in heaven! ;)

Sometimes it's more blue...

...and sometimes it's more green :D

GOOD TO KNOW:

Type of polish: Flake.

Colour: The flakes go from dark green to medium blue and sometimes to turquoise depeding on the lighting. The flakes lie in a blurple (a purple-ish blue) thin base.

Opacity: Hard to say since I'm layering it, but I've read that it's possible to get it opaque on its own. This is one coat over two coats of Phallic.

Drying time: Normal.

Formula: Very good! Quite thick, but still surprisingly easy to work with. Stays where you want it to.

Brush: Good! Nice and thick! Almost too thick for the smaller nails ;) but still very easy to apply with.

Shine: Very shiny on its own, but I have two coats of Seche Vite in these pictures. You don't really need any top coat, but I'm working a long shift as a florist today and I need all the protection I can get! ;)

Accurate colour, photo vs IRL: Accurate! Better looking IRL of course! ;) It has a real depth and an almost metallic shine which don't really show off in the pictures.

Grade: 5/5 :D

I got this polish through a swap with Sleeping Elin and I'm very pleased with it! :D
It reminds me of mermaids some how ;) Next time I'll try it over a dark green polish I think.
