Orly Plum Pixel - swatches and review

If you want to wear a textured polish to work and you're not allowed to wear bright, bold, in-your-face colors, this is the polish for you! Nevertheless, it's the perfect party polish to the little black dress! What it lacks in color it gains in sparkle! It's a nude-ish pale plum with wonderful shine and sparkles!


 GOOD TO KNOW:

Type of polish: Textured.

Number of coats: ONE!

Formula: Excellent! A pure joy to apply! Drying time is a bit slow unfortunately, about 40 minutes.

Brush: Excellent! No complaints at all! And do I have to mention the grip cap by now...? ;) Wonderful!

Top Coat: No. 

Color accuracy in pictures: Accurate. But as with most textured polishes, much more sparkly and glittery live!

Grade: 4+/5

When I saw this in the bottle I didn't jump for joy, but once applied - WOW!! I didn't want to remove it for days! (Unusual for me and by the way the removing wasn't bad at all ;)) I really enjoyed wearing this almost nude but so sparkly polish! There was no chipping for days either! The only negative is the slow drying time. That was the only reason why I didn't give it a 5.

    Gorgeous texture color! I love how neutral it looks but it still has that wow factor to it. I really like it a lot :)

    One coater, textured polish, sparkling... perfect! Drying time...not so perfect! :-) I don't know, I'm always in a hurry so my manicures never dry as fast as I want! :-) ;-)

    Hi doll, this looks beautiful on you!!! And I just can imagine how well it adapts to either meeting rooms or bars - LOL!!! I haven't any of Orly's textured finishes but hmmmm I need to have a thought here - or two ;-)!!! How long I am willing to wait for a polish to dry? Being the hardcore nailpolish addict that I am I take up with much if I want to wear a polish. And then there is nothing against idling on the couch for a while with the best excuse in the world: sorry cannot move, my nailpolish isn't dry yet ;-)!!! Have a lovely day - viele Küsschen xxx
