Essie "For the Twill of It" Collection Fall 2013

A few days ago the entire autumn collection from Essie, six gorgeous shades, landed on my door step! It's called "For the Twill of It" and the names are really witty, as always with Essie.

After wearing a lot of brights this summer I now feel like wearing these darker, duskier, warmer colors. There are some unique colors in this collection - and some less unique. There are quite a few different finishes too - duo chrome, shimmer, glass flecks, cream and crelly.

For the Twill of it - A grey/pink/teal duo chrome 
The Lace is On - A fuchsia/magenta shimmer
Vested Interest - A sage green gray
After School Boy Blazer - A blackened blue 
Cashmere Bathrobe - A gray with silver flecks
Twin Sweater Set - A crimson red

I'm quite excited about this collection actually! I have to admit it's been a while since I last liked every polish in a whole Essie collection but I'm really looking forward to try and show you each and every one this time. I hope I'm saying the same after I have tried them ;)

    Hi Süsse, first things first: I am always in for dark shades - LOL!! As for this collection I am a bit on the fence. While I find all of the shades beautiful none of them strike me as particularly unique but Essie stays true to their line and combine classy with modern. So my final line here is: on to your nails! on to your nails! Puss, puss and pets to Smilla xxx

      Hi pet! I can't judge how unique they are right now but I will once I've tried them. I will judge their uniqueness in my reviews ;) Essie is a brand for the everyday woman so I have low expectations on them creating something unique like an indiemaker does. They are as you say classy and fairly modern but that's it :) But they can still be beautiful and worth wearing :D More info will come shortly! Viele Küsschen!!! xxx
