Fish Tail Braid Nail Art - swatches

Yesterday I took a pause from blogging but today I'm back with post number 450!! :D
This deserves something special and I think this manicure turned out really special!

This technique has different names, but I call it fish tail braid nail art. It takes a while to do but it's not hard at all and it's soooo worth it when you see the result!!

This is also my first challenge in the "Step Into Summer" challenge I'm joining created by the Hobby Polish Bloggers. This challenge is "Inspired by the Pool" and I have simply done my braids with colors inspired by pool water.

Barry M Blueberry Ice Cream, H&M Blue My Mind, CG Four Leaf Clover

As per usual I'm doing the challenges in no particular order ;) Hopefully I'll have time to do them all before August 1st.
I'm also working on a tutorial on how to do these braided nails! Anyone interested? ;)

How do you like this fish tail braid nail art?
Can you feel the pool water feeling? ;)

This is what the other ladies are doing:

    1. I liked your manicure so much that I finaly decided to try the fishtail braid manicure, it has been waiting too long on my "to do" list :-)
So yesterday I did 2 fishtail braid manicures; unfortunately, at the beginning of this week I had to cut my nails (one of them got badly broken...) so they are very short (...toooooo short) but I was happy how my manicures came out, especially the second one (I learned on my mistakes made while making the first one...).. I will publish them soon, stay tuned! :-)
