Blueberry Nails

The inspiration for this nail art emerged when I was sipping on a bottle of blueberry soup and saw the beautiful little blueberries on the bottle. At that time I happened to have a "clean" nude polish on my nails just waiting to be decorated. So I got my dotting tools out and dotted on a bunch of blueberries! :)

The base polish is the beautiful Pretty Nude from By K and the blueberries are made with KBShimmer Right as Reign and Barry M Matte White.

I love the result! The blurple berries are a great contrast to the pale nude and I like how the placement of the berries came out. A perfect manicure for this Nail Art Sunday! :)

Zoya Dream - swatches and review

Time for Holothon 2.0! This time with a real showstopper! So beautiful you just want to cry, well almost ;)

Really just weak scattered hologlitter in a dark blue jelly base but never the less soooo stunning!! On top of this it has a great formula too.

Three pics today of Dream in three different lightings and it's wonderful in every single one! This polish goes on my top ten list - ever!

GOOD TO KNOW:

Type of polish: Holographic.

Number of coats: Two.

Formula: Very good! So easy to control!

Brush: Thin straight cut brush.

Top Coat: Yes.

Funky French Leafs Nails

This is a manicure I did a few weeks ago. The base is the vivid OPI Red Lights Ahead…Where? and the leafs are made with MoYou London plate Artist Collection-05 and By K Pink Dahlia . Before stamping I attached a strip of scotch tape to get straight edges of the tips.

I like the result. Less is more ;)

By K Mermaid Cave - swatches and review

I've got a stunning olive green shimmer polish for you this Green Wednesday from By K. This is Mermaid Cave from By K's fall collection 2014.

This olive green beauty almost shifts to bronze in some lighting. I get such a fall feeling from this polish! I'm thinking long walks with crispy fresh air in the woods underneath the trees which have starting changing color, damp green moss and mushrooms behind every tree. Do you get the feeling? ;)

This is two coats with a top coat.

GOOD TO KNOW:

Type of polish: Shimmer.

Number of coats: Two.

Formula: Very good! Thinner than the By K creams but not runny. Two coats give you perfect opacity!

Brush: Thin straight cut.

Top Coat: Yes. 

Grade: 5/5

Essie After School Boy Blazer - swatches and review

A late after lunch post today :) This is the beautiful After School Boy Blazer from Essie's For The Twill Of It Collection released fall 2013.

Such a glossy and inky dark blue! I love it! I'm such a sucker for these kind of blackened colors… ;) Gorgeous in my eyes AND a one coater! :D

GOOD TO KNOW:

Number of coats: One! :D

Formula: Very good! No complaints.

Brush: Thin straight cut.

Top Coat: Yes.
