Zoya Posh with Caviar Heart - swatches

Since Valentine's Day is coming up next week I thought I'd show you a Valentine's manicure :) This manicure in inspired by the wonderful blogger Natalia at Polished Polyglots.

The red polish is Zoya Posh which is a gorgeous matte red shimmer polish. Posh has an amazing formula and is a dream to apply!

As an accent nail I made a little heart out of silver caviar pearls and filled it with Orly Torrid. It was a bit fiddly, I must admit ;) but I drew the outline of the heart with a thin brush and a top coat and then I filled that line with the silver caviar pearls. After that I filled the heart with Torrid also using a thin brush.

As I said to Natalia when she made her caviar heart, I think this is the best use of caviar pearls EVER! ;)

Do you like Zoya Posh?
Do you have other ideas for using caviar pearls?

  1. Snyggt!

      Ja! Testa du med!!! :D

    1. Hi pet! I knew you'd recognize it! :D I had to try her great idea! :D
Posh is really wonderful! It was part of the Limited Edition Zoya Matte Velvet Collection which was released Fall of 2009. There was no green polish there I'm afraid... Which one could you be thinking of...?
If anyone knows, please leave a comment! :)

    2. Hello dolls, I remember both matte releases by zoya on 2009 first one for Fall and then one for winter: the one Christine is thinking about is Zoya Veruschka (green), that came out for the Winter MAtte velvet Collection 2009 (I started my collection around that date so I remember!)
      hope was helpful!

  4. My second St.Valentine's Day manicure looks a little bit like this :-) I still didn't publish it, I will do it soon :-) The interesting thing is that also I used a matt nail polish, but at the end, because of pearls I had to put a top coat over it, so my manicure got a completely different final effect... :-)
