Barry M Blueberry - swatches and review

My contribution to this Blue Monday is the fresh pastel blue Blueberry from Barry M. This polish should not be confused with Barry M's other polish also named Blueberry from their Gelly Collection.
You can take a look on the other Blueberry here.

How can a polish company name two of their polishes with the same name??? And it's not like Barry M has a range of thousand of polishes to keep track on either. ;) Just weird if you ask me ;)

Anyway, here it's is - Blueberry! ;)

GOOD TO KNOW ABOUT BLUEBERRY:

Type of polish: Cream.

Colour: A bright pastel blue.

Opacity: Very good! This is two coats. If you also apply a top coat you can get away with one coat :D

Drying time: Normal.

Formula: Excellent! A perfect formula which gives you a a trouble free application.

Brush: Very good! Good width and length. Very easy to work with.

Shine: Shiny on its own. No top coat in these pictures.

Accurate colour, photo vs IRL: Accurate. Perhaps a tiny bit not so bright IRL.

Grade: 5/5 :D

This is a lovely pastel blue polish with excellent qualities! The colour is both pretty and somewhat edgy. I like Barry M. They make very nice polishes to a surprisingly low cost! This one was about 30 SEK (£3 or $4.50).

How do you like this version of Blueberry? ;)
Do you know of any other brand that has named to of their polishes the same name??

  1. Underbar blå nyans. Sommarblått! Gillar det! :-)

  4. Hi doll, awwww love this - big slap to self to have passed on the Barry M sale with Harlow &Co - it looks soooo lovely on you dear <3!!! And I have never came across two different polishes of one brand with the same name. More the contrary: companies that try to sell the same polish with a different name!! Hope you had a lovely start into the new week xxx

    1. Hi darling!
I didn't know that Harlow sold Barry M! Must check that out! I always buy my Barry M's in London. I go at least once a year and I'm going again soooon! :D
I hate it when the polish companies try to sell the same polish with a different name!! OR when they change the recipe AND keep the name!! >:-(
I had a day off today since I worked all weekend :)

  5. Ciao cara! what a lovely blue! this looks gorgeous on you, I see why your mr. chooses blue for you.
But that is strange to have 2 different colours named the same! I know from Catrice they hade "revamped" many colours, so they kept the names and codes, but the formula and colours have changed, and some changes are drastic!! I've some of the old and new versions with both the same name!! how weird is that?!

    1. Grazie mille cara! I really like my blues ;)
I hate it when the polish companies do like Catrice!! Even Color Club has done it several times! Often NOT to the better but to the worse... Removed holo for example. I think that is really ugly play!!
I have posted your package today! :D
      Baci!
      xx
