Orly Torrid - swatches and review

This is a lovely dark red shimmer polish from Orly! One of the most beautiful red I've seen in ages as a matter of fact! :D Just look at these pictures!!!

This is how it looked outside my window today! Jippe!! :D

Type of polish: Shimmer.

Colour: Dark red with lots of bright red shimmer which gives it an almost satin finish! In some lighting it looks like it's glowing from within! Beautiful!! :D

Collection: Orly Naughty or Nice Holiday Collection 2012.

Opacity: Great! This is two coats. :)

Drying time: Normal.

Formula: Very good! Nice texture and easy to work with. Stays where you want it to. :D

Brush: Perfect! Thick and firm! Very easy to apply with. Do I have to mention the lovely cork? ;)

Shine: Very shiny on its own, but I have one coat of Seche Vite in these pictures.

Accurate colour, photo vs IRL: Quite accurate. Best pictures are the daylight pictures. This is a dark red polish. The pictures taken in halogen light are a bit to bright red looking. And as always ;) it's better looking IRL of course! ;)

Grade: 5/5 :D

I'm not a huge fan of red polishes but this one is absolutely gorgeous! Much more gorgeous than I thought it would be actually! This is one of the most beautiful red polishes I've seen for a long time and the formula is great too! I'm almost gobsmacked! ;) If you are into reds this one is a must!!

Do you like this red polish ladies?
Are you into reds or do you find them too boring? ;)

  1. Jättevackert! Det glöder verkligen om det.

  2. Ja, det är en superfin finish på det! :D
Å som alltid... ÄNNU finare i verkligheten ;)

  3. This one is so pretty! It reminds me of my favorite red OPI The Color of Minnie.

    1. Yes, they have a similar finish! :)
Torrid is a bit more deeper red I think.
      Both are beautiful!! :D

  4. Det ser verkligen tjusigt ut!

  5. Måste. Köpa. Den. Här. Kollektionen. Punkt.
