Depend Ocean Green (#2036) - swatches and review

This is the second polish I'm trying from Depend's holographic collection and I'm not that impressed to be honest. Or maybe I'm just having a bad day ;) Let's take a look at it, shall we?

In sunlight

Close up in sunlight

In halogen light

In artificial light (light bulb)

In daylight

In shadow

This is how much that remains after ONE use of both 2036 and 2035...

GOOD TO KNOW:

Type of polish: Holographic.

Colour: A holographic turquoise leaning towards blue.

Opacity: Good. This is two coats.

Drying time: Normal.

Formula: Quite poorly I'm afraid... If I applied it with more than just a few strokes the brush started to collect polish from the nail instead of adding polish to it... Very annoying! >:-(

Brush: Good! A bit wider than normal Depend brushes.

Shine: It actually dried a bit matte (?!) so I have one coat of Seche Vite in these pictures. This on the other hand diminished the holographic effect a bit unfortunately... The holo effect was stronger without the top coat but who wants a matte holo on their nails??? ;)

Accurate colour, photo vs IRL: Best match is the daylight and shadow picture.

Grade: 3+/5 :)

This polish didn't make my heart beat any faster and the formula could have been better BUT it's a nice colour and and let's face it - it's a holo! :D

    1. Ja, det blir dyra manikyrer om man räknar ut hur mycket det går åt varje gång...

  2. Howdy, i read your blog from time to time and i own a similar one and i was just
wondering if you get a lot of spam responses?
If so how do you reduce it, any plugin or anything
you can suggest? I get so much lately it's driving me crazy so any support is very much appreciated.
