Different Dimension Black Dahlia - swatches and review

For this Holo Friday I've got an awesome holo indie polish for you! This is the magic, almost legendary Black Dahlia from Different Dimension.

It's a wonderful black leaning greyish purple holo with a twist! The twist is that it also contains micro iridescent glitters that in some lightings glimmers in purple, turquoise, magenta, blue, red and green. Those little extras really sets it apart from other black holos.

GOOD TO KNOW:

Type of polish: Holo/glitter.

Number of coats: Two.

Formula: Easy to control but a bit on the thick side. Don't apply twice on the same spot before dry because this causes bald spots. Dries surprisingly fast considering the thicker formula.

Brush: Very good! No complaints.

Top Coat: No. I added a top coat after taking these pictures and it did not diminish the holo effect at all.

Color accuracy in pictures: Accurate. The iridescent micro glitters are more visible live though.

Grade: 5+/5

This is such a unique and beautiful holo! That extra twist is really fun and I will wear this again and again! The formula could have been slightly less thick but that's an easy fix ;) I now understand why this is such a legendary polish :)

How do you like Black Dahlia?
Is it in your collections too?

  8. Oh.. denna gick inte av för hackor! Loved it!.
