Normally I loathe bar glitters but in this polish I love it! Maybe because it's holo bars ;) My florist teacher always said: "If you have a good idea, don't hold back!" So that is what I did with this polish ;) This is two generous coats on top of OPI Dating a Royal. I don't think I would have liked it if the bar glitters had been sparse but with this many bar glitters it's gets an almost fuzzy look and I love that!
This is also my contribution to this week's Holo Friday :)
GOOD TO KNOW ABOUT BLUE:
Type of polish: Holographic glitter.
Colour: Holographic bar glitter and holographic micro glitter in a sheer blue jelly base.
Opacity: Hm... this polish is probably best for layering. For opacity you might need 4-5 coats.
Formula: Very nice! A very nice formula which is very easy to apply! And the bar glitters don't stick out of the nail when you apply this polish. Somehow they're just drawn back onto the nail. No pushing or filing or cutting needed! :D
Brush: Very good! Very nice to apply with.
Shine: Very shiny on its own so I have no top coat in these pictures.
Accurate colour, photo vs IRL: Quite accurate, but much more holographic, glittery and sparkly irl!
Grade: 5/5 :D
This polish is really amazing irl! It's even holographic in the shade! :D The formula is great too! It's a cheaper version of Ciaté's "Jewel" except that Jewel is light purple of course ;) But the same texture and amazing effect. Take a look at Jewel here.
Do you like Blue?
What is your opinion on bar glitter? ;)
