That's why I want to show you a really sunshine yellow polish today! :D This is a dusky lemon yellow polish with orange shimmer from Orly's newly released spring collection "Hope & Freedom Fest"!
GOOD TO KNOW ABOUT MELODIOUS UTOPIA:
Type of polish: Shimmer.
Colour: A dusky lemon yellow packed with orange shimmer.
Collection: Orly Hope & Freedom Fest Spring 2013.
Opacity: Ok. This is four coats. The forth coat made no difference so three coats is enough. In my opinion that's fairly ok for a light yellow polish.
Formula: Good! A nice formula which is easy to work with if you do thin coats. The formula was a tiny bit thin perhaps.
Brush: Very good! A bit thinner than normal for Orly but still very easy to work with! :)
Shine: Very shiny on its own but I have one coat of Seche Vite in these pictures.
Accurate colour, photo vs IRL: Quite accurate! Perhaps a tiny bit brighter yellow IRL.
Grade: 3++/5 :)
I love the shade of yellow of this polish and the shimmer gives it a really unique touch! And I don't normally like yellow at all ;) The formula is nice but a bit sheer.
This colour was just what I needed on a dull day like today! I'll probably wear this again in the summer.

ReplyDeleteJag älskar gult. Jag gör verkligen det. Det här ser fint ut men jag avskyr verkligen Orlys pensel. Frågan är om det är tillräckligt snyggt för att köpa då...
